I am new to Tallahassee and needed to get my eyes examined. The Dr. visit was fine. The moment I sat down with Dakota is when things started going down hill from there. When he measured my bifocals he measured too high and I specifically asked why he had the bifocals that high. He stated that it was necessary for reading. Two weeks later I returned to pick up my glasses. They were too high I could not see out of them and I especially need my glasses to drive at night. I made a trip back to get my regular and shades lowered. When I returned the nice guy said that they were absolutely too high by 5 mm. So he sent off the shades and gave me the regular glasses back. Two weeks later picked up shades and left the other pair. Another man measured the other pair. He tried to give me a hard time not knowing the situation. He measured and said the bifocal were 3mm too high. Two weeks later I returned and the bifocal was still too high. Left without my much needed glasses again. The nice guy remeasured this time sent them off once more. The nice guy was apologetic. Dakota was not apologetic and I asked if he could give me a hard case for my glasses and he said no. Terrible experience not offering a discount or and apology for the inconvenience. I will not recommend or return. I received my regular glasses and the are still not right. Wasted time and money.

Very bad experience. I'm a first time eyeglass wearer. I explained that I have never worn eyeglasses before. I expected to get all the information and details of wearing and upkeep of the glasses. I was not told about a policy. Basically I was given a price, cashed out, given a receipt and told to look out for a text to say when to come to pick them up. So now that I'm not satisfied I tried to just get another pair in place of the first set. Nope. I had to pay the full price for another pair. I now have 4 pairs of glasses. I just don't understand why I was treated unfairly. I should've at least been able to make the exchange instead spending more money. I seriously felt, feel like they (people working there) could care less. Something should be done so people like me aren't feeling dissatisfied. I just want a refund for 2 out 4 pairs of glasses. I hope something is done about this.

The staff at the Tallahassee branch seemed nice; however, I was mislead to believe that after paying a more expensive exam, rather than the $79 exam, that I would get a prescription for contacts along with two pair of glasses. I opted for the $109 exam ( under the belief it included two pair of glasses and a prescription for contacts). I was mislead by staff. Then, I found out, although the sign in their store windows indicates glasses the same day, they actually cannot produce them same day because their "lab is down." One employee admitted it had been down "for some time." After I delved into the matter a Caucasian female staff member tried to cover up that their lab had been down for some time and, as such, they were falsely advertising. This place is operated by staff whom seem to believe that being dishonest is just okay. I am extremely dissatisfied by Stanton Optical of Tallahassee. I feel their employees are immoral to the extent of justifying perjury. I would not recommend this business. In fact, if it were possible, I think administration should have a stern meeting with all staff whereas the rules including dishonesty is the top subject.

Very grateful for John and his amazing service. He is always a pleasure when helping our family with our vision needs.. and his kindness is unmatched when taking care of my youngest child.

Another thank you to Dakota for stepping in and solving our late night glasses emergency. Although we could use our vision insurance at other places- Stanton’s team offers a value that insurance doesn’t cover.

The staff are extremely friendly and receptive, more than accommodating even when I came in and requested a second attempt at my eye exam in concern for my left eye's condition.

Dakota gets a great shout-out for his excellent service in helping me and my family work out an affordable and acceptable price point--even fixing my old glasses during for no cost! I couldn't have asked for a better experience especially only being I the area for a short trip.
