Marcus and his crew were a pleasure to work with. They were professional and positive throughout. We have done interstate moves and local with many crews and these guys were our best experience. We appreciated how no matter what they were doing they were smiling, dancing and having fun. Made the move better! The three flights of stairs, tons of paintings they moved and heavy tool boxes all with no damage. Thanks for making moving a day a little less painful! Definitely would recommend these guys they came recommended by our neighborhood group by several neighbors and we see why!

EDIT: the business has responded and said that my review was misleading. The company is lying and I am adding proof —

1. I moved on November 27th. I reported this issue on December 11th right before traveling. Adding the email interaction in my photos below.

2. I stated that the company was kind enough to offer a refund in the review. Might want to re-read that second to last paragraph. The company responded, “Unfortunately, you had our most basic level of coverage, which is based on weight, not on value and provides $0.6 per pound of a damaged item.” It would have been solid to move closer to their original quote considering the immense damage to my items.

3. With all of that said, to be quoted $1,200 to move a two bedroom to then charge $1,950 is steep. Again, as kind as they were, the movers did not come properly equipped with the tools needed, which added (not kidding) three hours to remove a TV because it had a flat mount. There was a significant amount of damage to the 72” LG OLED C3 (~$4,000) TV alone. I still tipped them almost $200, and bought them a few things to take home with them.

Instead of saying my review is misleading, take the time to take this feedback and improve.

Unfortunately, as much as I liked my movers, this is the worst and most expensive moving experience that I have had.

To move a two bedroom apartment, I was quoted $1,272. They ended up charging me $1,950. The movers were nice, but incredibly slow and inexperienced — it took over three hours to take down one of my TVs because they did not have the proper tools. The TV ($4,000 C3) was pretty significantly damaged as a result.

When I unloaded and looked at the damage done after a nearly $2k price tag, there was probably $8,000 worth of damage based on the items affected.

My couch was torn, my VariDesk had a deep scratch, two expensive portraits were broken, my brand new chest of drawers was damaged in multiple areas, Peloton bike was affected, among a few other things. There is a lot more damage than the pictures will do justice.

When I reached out hoping the company might make it right, they argued that I did not purchase insurance. The bill was already absurdly high, but to their credit they at least discounted the $1,950 bill by $300.

Also, be weary of any 5 star reviews with pictures. The company will give $50 off if you post a picture with your movers and give them five stars. I would bet that their team does a solid job, but my experience was one of the worst that I have had.

We have used Eco Movers several times now, most recently to support a big remodel that required moving about half the house and garage to storage and back. Not only did they handle that extremely well they also helped us rearrange heavy furniture stayed at the house. When they came for the restore they knew what they had moved out and asked about some things that had already been taken care of. Boris G and Ruben were our crew this week and they were great. They were friendly, efficient, and professional. We would work with them again.

Using EcoMovers was incredibly easy. Scheduling was smooth and pain free. I was lucky to catch them during a slow part of the season so I was able to schedule out a week in advance. Their communication over email was prompt and detailed including a website to enter in an inventory list and contract signing. The initial booking didn’t include packing but that was noted in the estimate. I called and asked to add in extra time for packing services and they were able to accommodate my needs. I did choose a weekday move because I liked their pricing better than a weekend; 1hr min vs a 4hr min. Their movers showed up on time and we walked my apartment so I could point out what needed to be moved and what needed to stay then they got to work packing and hauling my item to the truck. It took about 4hrs to pack and load up my 2b/2b apartment. They were thorough and careful with my furniture. Once at the house I walked them through where I wanted items to be placed and they set to work unloading and putting together any furniture they had to disassemble. Fantastic job all around by the EcoMovers of Tacoma/Seattle and my crew Oscar, Jason and Isidro.
