UPDATE: WEDNESDAY 03/12/25 my city contacted me stating there is a water leak at my address. Thru investigation, I realize my irrigation water main has been on, city states water usage began SATURDAY AFTER 2pm. Reviewing camera footage and I see ECO IRRIGATIONS guy turning on my water. Now I have a swamped yard, flooded water mains and something is broken. Now I feel even worse, I was threatened, demeaned, my time was taken advantage of and now I’m dealing with damages/cost caused by their technician.

The photo of the main is AFTER I turned it off. Lord this has been a horrendous experience.

UPDATE::: Monday, office manager attempted to call around 4pm and I was not available. Still feel extremely unsafe communicating with this company

UPDATE::: Saturday afternoon after numerous attempts to contact eco irrigation the someone high up emails me back. Provides his contact info, I call, no answer so I text. I’m attaching texts. This gentleman made me feel extremely unsafe especially as a woman.

ORIGINAL POST: Two appointments didn’t work as they should have. Winterization was scheduled, day of it was cancelled on their end without notice. (Guy was sick so I understand). Quickest I got on the books was a few weeks later. They had my $ for over a month before I got serviced.

Flash forward. It’s time for spring time up and getting everything on again. I schedule my appt, they take my money. Window today is 8am-12pm. No one shows. No calls. No emails. Called office. It’s closed. Called my bank to dispute since I Paid for a service I didn’t receive.

Several hours later, knock on the door and I explained to the gentleman that the window was over, I have disputed the charges with my bank since no one answered the office and I will not be paying a cancellation fee since I did not cancel. The window was closed. I am open to a conversation with eco irrigation and I will update my review if communication happens.

Eco Irrigation quoted us a price for landscaping and irrigation and we proceeded with their quote. The job ended up extremely short on dirt and was incomplete. It looks awful. They told us to finish the job we would have to pay thousands for it to be completed properly. When we objected, they proceeded to charge our card without our consent. Beware! The owner is arrogant and thinks he is the smartest guy in the room.

This guy is a bumb. Don't trust him. He quit our job before he was finished. Don't use eco irrigation. He put in a rainwater collection system and my downspout overflowed. Eco kept visiting but finally said, "we did all we could do ". Everything except fix the overflowing downspouts. Someone else fixed it. So it was not something that nobody could fix.

We scheduled weeks in advance for them to come out and fix our irrigation system. We had been using them for years. They showed up for the repair, told us that they didn't bring the parts with them, didn't have the time to fix it and that I would need to reschedule. I did tell them when I scheduled the service that our pump was completely broken and needed to be replaced so I don't know why they showed up without a pump. A couple days later my credit card was charged $110 service fee. I called and they told me that they would not refund my money and that they would only credit it towards future repair work. So basically they wanted me to pay them a service fee for showing up unprepared and doing absolutely nothing.

They used to be a good company when it was the father and son running it. Now the customer service is gone and their business practices are questionable.

Outstanding service. I have a peculiar problem of two rescues in the back yard where extreme caution must be observed going in and out of backyard gates. They must be closed. If the dogs get out, it's not likely that they can be recovered. The installation crew was very accommodating of my various special needs.

Further, I needed to revise the plan while the crew was installing. Again, they were very helpful.

And of course everything worked as expected.

I was set up quotes from several different sprinkler system providers through Home Advisor. It was an easy choice after Dennis came to my home to give me a quote and tell me about Eco Irrigation. From the CAD drawings of your sprinkler system layout at your home to the office staff staying in constant communication and keeping you updated with project status and install dates, Eco Irrigation is who you want to put your new sprinkler system in. The crew showed up on time, got the job completed in the same day, walked me around the system showing me the controls and how to program the controller, where the sprinkler heads and zones were, how to adjust them and gave me my CAD drawings. Professional, courteous, and did an outstanding job!

Irrigation service was acceptable, the landscape part was a disaster. Dealing with the owner was part dumpster fire and part train wreck. Incompetence was only topped by arrogance. Strongly suggest one of the many competitors even at a slight premium on cost.

Read all the negative reviews and run in the other direction. Spoke with them for 2-3 weeks about placing a sprinkler system in a new construction. Scheduled for them to go out to the home and provide a quote. They never went and never provided a quote. Called to find the status and they stated that they discussed it in the office and that my job would be better handled by someone else. So if you are looking to place sprinklers in your home, your job would likely be bettered handled by someone else too!
