Hans, Joy, and their whole team did everything for us (i.e. permits, scheduling of project installation, city inspection, new meter installation, tax rebate preparation, etc.). The members of the crew that installed our panels were polite, clean, and organized. The office tried their best to accommodate our scheduling needs and they provided timely updates. Hans and Joy explained each step of the process and answered all of our questions. They didn't try to upsell us and they were honest and straightforward with the cost/expenses. We talked to about six solar installers before deciding on Altadena. From our first consultation, I was impressed they weren't just trying to make a sale, but were able to provide a fairly comprehensive technical analysis of our project, and recommend some alternative. Our work included upgrading our service panel and service drop point, and wiring conduit around to minimize aesthetic impact. I was impressed they painted conduit to match all the surfaces it ran along, including the roof.

We're glad we went with Altadena, even if some installers provided lower quotes. Compared to other proposals, the finished system works more efficiently and looks great!

I first had Hans out to diagnose a problem from a previous solar installation by an installer who could not figure out the problem. Hans figured it out in about an hour and gave some sensible suggestions for solutions. When we decided to add capacity there was no question we would go to Altadena Energy and Solar. That installation went really well. They even noticed a problem a few months later from their own monitoring and came to fix it. I can't recommend them more highly.
